(Part 6) Love & Happiness 2.0:
How Work-a-bees andWannabees Took a Leap of Faith to Become VIPs.

Extra Word (Reflections for moving in the right direction.)
Your true calling as a faith journey is like an adventure where sometimes an opportunity is not what you hoped it to be while other times turn out to be
more than you ever expected.

Who Says (Tweets and Tips from people you know)
–      When you walk to the edge of all the light you know, and take the first step into the darkness of the unknown, you must believe that one of two things will happen: There will be something solid for you to stand on or you will be taught how to fly. – Patrick Overton, Author/Educator
–      Goals and dreams are one in the same, just say you believe and both you will attain. – @QuoteHillHarper

Faith Attack (A probing question or insightful feedback from the “Purpose Posse.”)
Q:Why does a leap of faith seem so hard to get off the ground?
A: A leap of faith can seem hard to get off the ground because of the mirage effect. From a distance, a mirage looks like something’s ahead. But when you move closer there’s nothing there. Sometimes it’s hard to get off the ground when you try to bite off more than you can chew. Other times it’s because the mind tricks you into thinking there’s nothing ahead.

Two school friends, Jenny and Jinny were thinking what to play during the
afternoon. For a long time, they could not decide upon any game. Suddenly,
Jenny had an idea. She turned to Jinny and said excitedly. “Let’s play schools.”

“OK!” said Jinny. “But I’m going to be absent.”

Extra Word (Reflections for moving in the right direction.)
Your true calling emerges from the coming together of your personal strengths and professional skills in a way that sets your spirit free.

Who Says (Tweets and Tips from people you know)
–       Rejection isn’t meant to harm you. It’s meant to arm you with the knowledge you need to move on to your destiny. – Essence Magazine
–       Faith is facing the facts without being discouraged by them. It’s not denying a diagnosis but defying a verdict. – @RickWarren

Faith Attack (A probing question or insightful feedback from the “Purpose Posse.”)
Q: What makes a leap of faith so important in setting your hopes, dreams and spirit free?
A: In reality, a leap of faith helps with overcoming your fears. Fear has a way of shackling your spirit. It’s been said that we’re born with two fears, one of them being the fear of heights. All other fears are learned. So a leap of faith can help you overcome the fear of rejection or the fear of rising to new heights in life.

WORDS OF WISDOM?

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and a leaky tire.

It’s darkest before dawn. So if you’re going to steal the neighbor’s newspaper, that’s the time to do it.

Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

If you think nobody cares if you’re alive, try missing a couple of car payments.

If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again; it was probably worth it.

When someone says, “Do you want my opinion?” – it’s always a negative one.

The trouble with work is – it’s so daily.

Scientists say 1 out of every 4 people are crazy. Check 3 friends, if they are OK, you’re it.

Extra Word (Reflections for moving in the right direction.)
Your true calling is a pathway to the fulfillment of your purpose, passion, spiritual urgings and life dreams.

Who Says (Tweets and Tips from people you know)
–       Who you’re meant to be evolves from where you are right now. – Oprah
–       The mere presence of passion within you is all you need to fulfill your dreams. – @WayneDyerQuotes

Faith Attack (A probing question or insightful feedback from the “Purpose Posse.”)
Q: How is what you achieve related to what you believe or how much you believe in yourself?
A: It has a lot to do with how you take a leap of faith. Let’s say you needed to cross over a lake. There was no bridge or path so you had to jump. How much you believe in the idea that you have to jump and how much you believe in your ability to jump will help determine if you make it to the other side. Plus, it helps to trust in a Higher Power to make a way (out of no way) to the other side, if that becomes necessary.

Extra Word (Reflections for moving in the right direction.)
Your true calling puts you in touch with a GPS-like sense of awareness where you get to see things you wouldn’t otherwise see on a map with your naked eye.

Who Says (Tweets and Tips from people you know)
–       We’re here to make a dent in the universe, otherwise why be here. – Steve Jobs

Faith Attack (A probing question or insightful feedback from the “Purpose Posse.”)
Q: How does a leap of faith help with career moves when changing course?
A: It might move you from seeing red to seeing green. Think about what happens at the traffic light. One lane of cars stops while another lane is moving. A leap of faith can put your career in motion or dreams in gear. Knowing when to move comes from having more awareness. So, move when you see green because moving on red can be dangerous.

Wise Crack (A good laugh or timeless message that stirs the soul.)
The boss of a big company needed to call one of his employees about an urgent problem with one of the main computers.  He dialed the employees’ home number and was greeted with a child’s whisper on the first ring, “Hello?”

Feeling put out of having to talk to a youngster the boss asked, “Is your Daddy home?”
“Yes”, whispered the small voice.

May I talk with him?” the man asked.
To the surprise of the boss, the small voice whispered, “No.”

Wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, “Is your Mommy there?”
“Yes,” came the answer.

“May I talk with her?”
Again the small voice whispered “No.”

Knowing that it was not likely that a young child would be left home alone, the boss decided he would just leave a message with the person who should be there watching over the child.

“Is there any one there besides you?” the boss asked the child.
“Yes”, whispered the child, “A policeman.”

Wondering what a cop would be doing at the home, the boss asked, “May I speak with the policeman?”
“No, he’s busy.” whispered the child.

“Busy doing what?” asked the boss.
“Talking to Daddy and Mommy and the Fireman” came the whispered answer.

Growing concerned and even worried as he heard what sounded like a helicopter through the ear piece on the phone, the boss asked, “What is that noise?”
“A hello-copper,” answered the whispering voice.

“What is going on there?” asked the boss, now alarmed.
In an awed whispering voice the child answered, “The search team just landed the hello-copper!”

Alarmed, concerned and more than just a little frustrated the boss asked, “Why are they there?”
Still whispering, the young voice replied along with a muffled giggle, “They’re looking for me!”

(Part 2) Love & Happiness 2.0:
How Work-a-bees and Wannabees Took a Leap of Faith to Become VIPs.

Extra Word (Reflections for moving in the right direction.)
Your true calling reveals enough to you about spiritual things to make a difference in the world, and a lot about the world to be an example of spiritual things.

Comments (We love hearing from you!)
–       “You’re being used as a vehicle for transformation. It’s impressive and inspiring!”

Keep them coming!

Faith Attack (A probing question or insightful feedback from the “Purpose Posse.”)
Q: When you take a leap of faith how do you know it is God’s footsteps in the sand you’re following?
A: That’s like asking “when you’re hungry how do you know that you’re hungry?” Your stomach sends a signal to your brain. Your response of eating satisfies the physical urge. Similarly, your gut sends a signal to your spirit. Your response in taking a leap of faith satisfies the spiritual urge. As such, you make a spiritual connection to your true calling.

Wise Crack (A good laugh or timeless message that stirs the soul.)
Tom and Tim were in the same regiment in the army. They were inseparable friends and spent their evenings drinking together. After retirement, they went to different states and settled. However, they kept correspondence through letters and e-mails.

To keep the memory of their boozing bouts alive, Tom always filled two glasses with rum and water and sipped from each alternately!

When somebody asked him why he did so, he explained: ‘This glass is Tim’s; this one is mine. So I take a sip from each – one on behalf of Tim, the other for myself.’

Suddenly one evening Tom was seen with only one glass on his table. He was asked what had happened.

He replied, ‘You see, I have given up drinking but Tim has written that he has not. So I have put away my glass and drink only on behalf of my friend.’
